"In England, if you commit a crime, the police don't have a gun and you don't have a gun. If you commit a crime, the police will say 'Stop, or I'll say stop again.'"

Violent home invasions are almost becoming un-newsworthy.
Crackheads are committing more and more violent crimes.
Our political leaders are themselves coming under violent attacks in homes and public places and events.
Here in the United States and in the world of executive protection, the goal is to cover and evacuate the protectee. Professional Security Specialists cannot stick around and fight it out, but rather do everything they can to get the Protectee away from harm as fast a possible.
However, in the private or family sector, without a professional security detail, we are many times caught in a situation where that is not a realistic opportunity. Sure a "good run" is much better than a "bad stand" but when we are alone or with our family, whether at home or moving about, we must be able to make a stand if necessary, and if the bad guy makes his way into our home we need to be able to defend it.
Why carry a firearm?
Because you love your family. You carry a firearm in an effort to give yourself and loved ones a chance to fight back.
And if you do not presently carry, then you should consider doing so, to give YOURSELF and YOUR family a chance.
However, in doing so, you must also acknowledge and understand that carrying a firearm is not about ego and it's not about macho.
"Ego and macho" lead to bad decision making and can get you killed when a threat presents itself,
but, I truly believe that one thing worse than my being killed by an attacker, would be to have to witness that attacker kill one of my loved ones.
Having a firearm is not a guarantee of victory in a bad encounter, but it IS an effort to at least give yourself a fighting chance to survive the attack. That chance is further improved if one is well trained and proficient in its use.
It is, and has been proven time and time again, that when a bad situation is degrading to the worst possible scenario that total submission to a violent attacker is the absolute worst possible action a victim can take. Hugs and good thoughts don't work very well either.
We will NOT turn you into a SWAT sniper, or a Black Robed Ninja. We will NOT turn you into a hooded, helmeted tactical door crasher, that is NOT our goal. There are other trainers across the U.S. who can do that.
We WILL provide you with training to educate you to the threats of today, both inside and outside the home and workplace, and in the process you will make new friends, learn new skills, improve on existing skills, and experience that shooting is also a fun sport !
We will train you to be more aware of your surroundings and potential threats in an effort to reduce your chances of becoming a victim in the first place.
We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service we can provide. "
"By calling attention to 'a well regulated militia,' 'the security of the nation,' and the right of each citizen 'to keep and bear arms,' our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy... The Second Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the Second Amendment will always be important."
- John F. Kennedy
